Greetings All... I am working on some new Sorcerous Bloodline that have a more "Thulian" feel. Attached are my initial versions of 'Hyperborean' and 'The Worm Oroborous': Sorcerous Bloodlines.pdf (14.98 KB) Remember, these are initial playtest versions... So, please be gent'l wit' me! Coming soon, I hope to have Ancient Elven Bloodline (Eldar? Eladrin?), one from the days when gods "dallied" with humankind, and more... Bill W.

I was hoping that the Sasquatches would release some new Sorcerous Origins in the Player's Companion. Of the classes, they need the most tinkering in Thule, but the book didn't show them any love. A rakshasa bloodline, an extraterene bloodline, and a serpent bloodline are the most in demand and it would be cool to see at least one of those bloodlines reach the Player's Companion.

Interesting ideas, and they seem reasonably balanced with the other sorcerer options. The telepathy ability of the Extraterrene bloodline seems odd though. It doesn't operate like any other class or race feature I'm aware of; the 10' per level range doesn't seem to mesh well with 5e design.

This is the Primeval sorcerer I made up. It is shamelessly and directly ripped off from the new Sorcerer class in The Spider-God's Bride, and as such it is quite a bit weaker than the more typical bloodlines in terms of sheer power. I think it conjures the feel of sorcerers from Sword & Sorcery type tales very well. 5e Primeval Sorcerer.pdf (68.56 KB)

Athkethin...
That's very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Regarding the Extraterrene telepathy ability: that was the first version that I worked on & was fishing for comments. I agree totally it doesn't have a 5e "feel"... I'll see what else I can come up with that has an alien feeel to it. I think my first idea was that so many Cthulhian things communicate via telepathy...
