While in the process of creating an adventure, it occurred to me that the background of certain creatures are unsuited for Thule. So I figured I'd start a thread where people can post their adaptations of creatures who otherwise wouldn't quite fit the setting.
I plan on using a Nothic in my game, which if you're unfamiliar with, is a very creepy one-eyed aberration which has an eye that causes necrotic damage and the ability to extract knowledge and memories from characters. Ordinarily, the Nothic is created by a curse handed down by the dark god Vecna, but as Vecna doesn't exist in Thule, it needed some tinkering.
The Thulean Nothic. The thirst for knowledge overwhelms many wizards, eager to uncover arcane lore and ascend to excellence. Some reach great heights, but deceitful wizards have more than once stolen from temples of Yog-Sothoth, and worse, attempted to coax the Opener of the Way into giving them forbidden knowledge. The price to pay for such a crime against the Great Old One is transformation into the thing called a Nothic. In this eternal form, they’re stripped of all memory of their former selves and cursed to lurk the shadows hungry for knowledge and magical items.

Nothic - possible origins: created by the Black Circle through awry magic and now its trying to steal the minds of all the sorcerous creators who made it through foul magic, in league with Yog Sothoth and attempts to capture your memories, a bioorganic war machine sent by the Hound of Tindalos from the distant past to punish time travelers and wizards meddling with time...
One of the first things I stated (for 13th Age): Was the Leng Spider, it isn't much different from the "Hunting Spider" or similar from the Monster Manual, but I wanted it to be more terrifying and have some dream powers.
Star Vampires make a good fit for Thule, they are invisible bloodsucking demons from the stars who fly and carry out the will of wicked sorcerers. Perfect pile of badness to throw down on a party.
Ghasts and Gugs are great to throw into a Thule game too...

Unicorns!
They come together in a hidden valley every season for mating, they are highly aggressive and dangerously territorial, the males fight amongst themselves for dominance - but also they tend to stampede in large numbers from loud noises.
